Rodney James Hansen -04/25/1954 - 06/16/2018 -(Class of 1972)
Rodney was born in Fort Monmouth. New Jersey. He went to Heaven June 16. 2018 in Gilbert. Arizona after a long hard-fought battle with cancer. He was a military brat and primarily grew up in Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista. Arizona. After graduating high school from Buena High, he relocated to Tempe. Arizona to attend ASU. "I am a SunDevil!"
Rod was a registered nurse for 27 years. He will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Georgeann. 2 daughters; Michelle Parrish of Lacey. Washington and Danielle Hansen of Mesa. 1 Son. Christopher Hansen of Tempe. 3 granddaughters. Morgan Parrish (Tim). Athena and Ilia Hansen- Shaw. His brother Robert (Ann) of Weatherford, Texas and Aunt Beverly Dalzell of Anchorage, Alaska.
Rodney was predeceased by parents Irving and Jean of Sierra Vista. Arizona. 2 brothers; Richard of Yuma and Ronald of Sierra Vista.
