Lloyd T. McCracken, 60, of Port Orange, Florida passed from this life to be with the Lord on January 3, 2015, and is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Donna McCracken. Lloyd is pre-deceased by his parents Col. John R. McCracken, Dorothy White McCracken and his brother Rudi J. McCracken. Lloyd will always be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughter Heather Watson, her husband Jonathan Watson, and two grandsons Skyler and Rowan Watson of Orlando, FL.
Born in Fairbanks, Alaska on June 11, 1954, later moved to Arizona where he graduated from Sierra Vista High School. Lloyd went on to attend college in Daytona Beach. He enlisted in the Army in 1973 and served his country honorably in the 82nd Airborne Division. After the military, he went on to a career in the United States Postal Service in Daytona Beach, FL where he met Donna, the love of his life. His life was filled with spending time with his family, photography, metal detecting, rock hounding, playing golf and traveling. Lloyd was a member of Christ the King Community Church in Port Orange, FL. The Celebration of Life will be held at Riverside Pavilion, 3431 Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange, FL 32129 on January 17, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.
