Who's Coming to 50 Year Reunion
CLASS OF '72 50TH REUNION ACTIVITIES
Friday, Sept. 30
6 p.m. Reception at Pueblo del Sol Country Club ($25)
Check in and get your nametag. Meet and greet your classmates to the sound of the late '60s and early '70s. Price includes teriyaki beef skewers, finger sandwiches, chicken tenders, fresh veggies, fresh fruit skewers, soft drinks, water, room rental, etc. No-host bar for beer/wine/cocktails. We'll be inside and outside on terrace overlooking golf course, so dress casually. Sign up on whiteboard for Saturday activities and carpool.
Saturday, Oct. 1
5 p.m. Class photo at Pueblo del Sol Country Club
5:30 p.m. Dinner at Pueblo del Sol Country Club ($75)
Check in and get your nametag. No-host bar. Cost includes a hot buffet dinner with both meat and vegetarian options, water, soft drinks, CAKE!, room rental, service fees/tip, overhead for mailings/website/equipment. Sounds of the '60s, '70s and even some newer stuff. There might be dancing, and definitely will be some fun activities and maybe even prizes. We'll be inside or out, as you please. No formal ballgowns or tuxedos, please.

10 a.m. Class Gift Dedication and Memorial for Deceased Classmates, Buena High School, 5225 E. Buena School Blvd.)
We welcome the survivors of our classmates to join us.
Roll call for our dearly beloved classmates, and dedication of a new bench and plaque donated by the Class of '72 for the enjoyment of students past and present. Meet at the entrance to the school; there is a parking area right there. We will be standing for this event, so wear comfortable shoes and dress casually for the picnic later in the day. There will be a chance to share your thoughts with other classmates if you wish.

11:30 a.m. Picnic at Len Roberts Park, 101 E. Theater Dr. ($15)
Join us at this new park on the site of the old Geronimo Theater, close to Carmichael Elementary School. Cost includes picnic catered by La Casita Mexican Restaurant, with chicken and beef tacos, bean burritos, salsa and chips, water, soft drinks. Bring your own other beverages. We have reserved a ramada, and will also have extra tables and chairs.

CLASS GIFT
The Class of '72 is donating a bench, plaque & shade trees to Buena High School. The total cost for the bench and plaque (as recommended by school staff) is $2,000. Our intent is to raise as much money as we can to cover the bench and anything over that would go towards trees. You can also just buy a tree in honor of a loved one. Shade trees can be purchased as living or memorial gifts for $250. There will be multiple ways to give (check or credit card via this website or contact Layne Young, buena72.sv@gmail.com, for Zelle or PayPal). The gift amount is up to you.

- The dedication and a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022 at Buena High School
- Gift amount is up to you. All gifts will be acknowledged and names will be published unless you wish to remain anonymous
